Eligibility: Pregnant women who are expecting or have a newborn three months old or younger

The MomsFirst Program offers case management and home visitation services to pregnant moms until the baby is two years of age. Participants receive health education on various topics including but not limited to breastfeeding, prenatal care and family planning.· Community workers will assist women in obtaining medical coverage as well as transportation to and from prenatal and postpartum appointments.

The goal of MomsFirst is to reduce the infant mortality rate of babies before reaching one year of age.

Lexington Bell Community Center has been the proud recipient of the MomsFirst Site of the Year Award for three consecutive years and here is what was said in the MomsFirst, New Beginnings newsletter:
